I took these shots of Lola in the apartment she was house-sitting in Darlinghurst, a few weeks after attending an amazing, intimate night of original music she hosted at a different house-sit in another far corner of this sprawling city.
Lola’s raw, honest performances and unique voice hit you instantly upon seeing her play. I was keen to capture her dynamic energy and endearing charm in these portraits.
Lola is currently touring Australia and New Zealand, sharing her musical morsels with the world and embarking on new writing and music video projects.
